Italconsult has implemented projects for urban and regional development in various countries since its establishment. From Master Plans to Projects related to infrastructure development and urbanization works for new residential areas, public and civil buildings, hospitals, as well as industrial complexes, our Company has handled all stages of consultancy services from feasibility study and final design to supervision of works.

The projects recently carried out in Middle Eastern countries for urban road beautification and landscaping are particularly noteworthy. The process of transformation and modernization is currently one of the central elements in the strategy of redesigning the urban space: road beautification projects have aimed at encouraging pedestrian activities and movements by providing architectural character, wide footpaths, hard and soft landscaping features, and spaces for the extension of the existing and potential commercial and recreational activities.

The presence of Italconsult in this sector is particularly significant in the Middle East Area, where the Company has been active since 1964 working for Ministries, Public Institutions and Authorities and large private companies. Major Clients in the Gulf Area are: Abu Dhabi Municipality, Al Ain Municipality, Dubai Municipality, UAE Ministry of Public Works and Housing, UAE Public Works Department (Abu Dhabi), JAFZA Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Dubai), EMAAR Properties (Dubai), KSA Ministry of Interior, Public Work Authority of Qatar.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Company is providing engineering consultancy services for reviewing the design and supervising the construction works of the 5th Stage of one of the most notable program/project of the Middle East Area, defined as “Consulting services for the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdulah Bin Abdul-Aziz Project” (KAP5) for the Ministry of Interior. The project includes the Design Review, Project Management and Construction Supervision of 370 sites comprising residential buildings, administrative offices, traffic divisions, police stations, drug control units, civil defense centers etc. to be built all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and involves more than 580 technical staff.

Few months before our Company was subcontracted with the 4th phase of the  same KAP programme, including the Design Review, Project Management and Construction Supervision of 24 sites (10 Directorates, 6 Dormitories, 7 Sport Training Centre and 1 Infrastructure Project) for a Total Built-up Area of 1,564,278.66.
