Italconsult Participates in Italy–Saudi Arabia Meeting at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Italconsult was honored to take part in the bilateral meeting held at the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Matteo Salvini and the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser. The event provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue between Italian and Saudi institutions and companies, focusing on the potential for collaboration in the infrastructure and logistics sectors. Strategic projects aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries were discussed, emphasizing sustainable and innovative infrastructure development. Italian companies, including Italconsult, had the opportunity to present their expertise and project proposals, actively contributing to the discussions and the exploration of future synergies with Saudi counterparts. Italconsult’s participation is part of a broader internationalization strategy designed to consolidate the company’s presence in key global markets and to promote Italian engineering excellence worldwide. Italconsult Honored with Appreciation Award from PWA–Ashghal for Doha Industrial Area Project
Italconsult is proud to have received an Appreciation Award from the Public Works Authority (PWA–Ashghal) for its role as Consultant in the Doha Industrial Area Offsite Works – Project QS043A. Italconsult Awarded 11 New Projects by PWA–Ashghal Under GEC 7

Italconsult Secures Extended Partnership with PWA–Ashghal Until 2028
Italconsult is proud to announce the extension of its General Engineering Consultancy agreement (Contract P2020/74) with PWA–Ashghal. Originally scheduled to conclude in November 2024, the contract will now run until January 2028, with an overall value increase of 15%. This important achievement reaffirms Italconsult’s solid partnership with PWA–Ashghal and its trusted role in delivering world-class engineering services for the Local Roads and Drainage Program (GEC 7), one of the country’s most significant infrastructure initiatives. Over the next years, Italconsult will continue to provide a comprehensive range of services, including: - Project Management Consultancy (PMC) - Data collection, planning, and coordination - Engagement with stakeholders and contractors - Review of building permits and road opening applications, including reinstatement works - Supervision of temporary traffic diversions - Contract management and administration - Construction supervision and quantity surveying - Project close-out and maintenance support Through this extension, Italconsult strengthens its contribution to Qatar’s ongoing infrastructure development, supporting the creation of modern, efficient, and sustainable local roads and drainage systems across the country.

Italconsult and Bureau Veritas validated the first Italian Agrivoltaics project
Agrivoltaics takes the fast track Photovoltaics twinned with agriculture and with reduced impact on the landscape. The gauntlet of agrivoltaics has been picked up by Bureau Veritas Italia, which for the first time validated in Italy the project of an agrivoltaics plant qualified as advanced and which synergistically combines the production of solar energy and the cultivation of olive trees on about 90 hectares of farmland in the territory of Comiso, Sicily, with a peak power of 43 megawatts. The affidavit issued certifies compliance with all the requirements defined by the Guidelines of the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) to obtain the qualification of advanced agrivoltaics, therefore suitable for maximizing the yield of the land, minimizing the environmental impact and at the same time enhancing agricultural productivity, entrusted in this case to the owners and tenants of the land. The promoter of the project is the independent power producer (IPP) Peridot Solar, one of the leading operators with an over 3 GWp plant portfolio, of which 100 MWp in operation and other 220 MWp under construction. In this initiative, part of a 1GWp framework agreement, Peridot was flanked by the international engineering company Italconsult Spa, led by Eng. Nino Bevilacqua, one of Italy's leading companies operating both in the civil and energy sectors on major projects, in the design of works and large infrastructures, with more than 2/3 of its orders concentrated abroad. As far as Bureau Veritas is concerned, the multinational certification, inspection, and testing company brought into play the expertise of its Industry Business Unit and of QCertificazioni, the group's company specialized in the agri-food sector. According to Paolo Tondi, Sales Manager of the Certification & Industry Division of Bureau Veritas Italia, "In a rapidly evolving scenario, including that arising from the new regulatory front, validation by a third party offers to operators and Evaluation Boards a technically robust anchorage, capable of bringing trust and transparency to the market." "We assessed," Tondi continues, "that the mix created by the technological and renewable energy skills of Bureau Veritas Industry Team and the agronomic skills of QCertificazioni Team, was the best solution for the need to assess compliance with all the many requirements that an advanced Agri-voltaic plant must guarantee." Andrea Urzì, Business & Project Development Director of Peridot Solar, states that "The decision to have our project certified by a third and independent party, not due to any legal obligation or linked to any public contribution, stems from the desire to raise the level of design and allow the evaluation commissions of the Authorities to distinguish our professionalism from those who propose initiatives that opportunistically exploit the name agrivoltaics without having behind them a solid development project in harmony with the Institutions, the community and agricultural operators." According to Antonio Bevilacqua, Managing Director of Italconsult, which at Group level also operates in the energy sector in North America, "The experience carried out in Sicily has been made possible thanks to teamwork with efficient synergy: therefore opens up new scenarios in which the sustainability of the project is not only represented by the methods and techniques used but also and in particular by the multidisciplinary choices and analyses that, together with the respect for the environment, ensure the optimization of all objectives."

Appreciation note by Borough of Emerson
Today, 17th October 2018, the Borough of Emerson proclaimed Boswell Engineering Appreciation Day in all its territory. The appreciation note for Boswell Engineering -a company 100% owned by ITALCONSULT- was given by the Borough of Emerson (New Jersey, USA) to acknowledge their expertise and dedication in the improvement of the Kinderkamack Road. The $4.4 mln Kinderkamack Road Improvement Project involved roadway widening and realignment, two new railroad crossing, new drainage systems, signalization upgrades, curbs, sidewalks, ADA compliant curb ramps and streetscape amenities. ITALCONSULT ranks in 81st position among the world largest Engineering firms by the ENR 2018 Top 225 International Design Firms. In an interview released to ENR, Antonio Bevilacqua, CEO says "Italconsult entered the U.S. market with the acquisition of New Jersey-based Boswell Engineering Inc. in April. The move helps Italconsult's expansion both to the American market and worldwide with a solid multinational structure already existing". ITALCONSULT has gained eighteen positions, from 99th to 81st, in the last one year and, considering only the pure engineering companies, ITALCONSULT is ranked in the 30th position competing with world leaders engineering firms.
